Blurb: Allegiances are shifting among the Clans of warrior cats that roam the forest. With tensions so delicately balanced, former friends can become enemies overnight, and some cats are willing to kill to get what they want.
Fireheart is determined to find out the truth about the mysterious death of brave ThunderClan warrior Redtail. But as he searches for answers, he uncovers secrets that some believe would be better left hidden.
Review: This was an emotional ride, from Graystripe losing Silverstream when she died giving birth, to him leaving Thunderclan to join his kits in Riverclan, to Tigerclaw finally being exposed and Fireheart getting promoted to deputy.
When Graystipe left, I had to fight to keep from crying even though I knew it was going to happen. That’s what I love about the writing, it gets me hooked from the get go no matter how many times I read it.
I thought the original cover had a mystic feeling to it but the new cover is twice as mystic, though I do wish they had kept the blue instead of making it yellow.
I’m most likely going to be in love with all the covers, just putting that out there and there will most likely be spoilers from now on with the Warriors books but I will always label it as spoilers.
Even though it’s for a younger audience, the writing is still great, it’s a good little read for adults as well, unless you get emotionally attached to fictional characters then you might get your heart ripped out.
Gives a little break from everyday life, from the stress and from the adult books. I know I will be reading this series over and over again for years to come.
Thank you for reading my review.
