☆☆☆/5

This one was rather long, took me a couple of days to get through it. It was a good book but I figure there could have been more attacks, close up instead of shootings from afar.

The book was alright, I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it. I wonder if it’s because it’s completely new characters with not even a mention of the others that we’ve come to know and love.

The two typos that did happen in this story were a little more confusing because it had her when it meant his. It especially was confusing in the bedroom.

I really think this author gets a kick out of writing the main female characters with selective hearing. They don’t hear what they want to hear, no, they hear what will make them mad.

*Spoiler*

The guy said that there were campers testing the security system and there was a kindergarten class near there so Max makes a plan to find the campers. Logical, right? Not according to Kitty, who apparently chose not to hear the testing the security part and then she sneaks out after being put back in the house to prove her independence even though it’s dangerous?

*End Spoiler*

The plot got interesting near the end but the story was just alright, kind of bland. The only action that happens, happens near the end, so it’s mostly talking.

The romance was what I looked forward too, it was sweet and a little funny. I felt a connection with them, especially at the cabin.

Thank you for reading my review.
