☆☆/5

I know it’s been quite a while since I’ve written a blog post, a little over a week since I’ve written a review. Well, this book took me six days to finish and then I tried struggling through another book, which I didn’t finish. This one I did finish, so onward to the review!

Even though I gave it a two star review, I honestly liked it. It was interesting enough, something new but I just wasn’t really impressed with it. I’m usually finished with Kindle books in about a day but it took me six days to get through it.

It should have been shorter but there was a lot of repetition, I mostly just skimmed in places.

I kind of feel like the author was maybe trying a bit too hard, trying to be light hearted in a few places. Almost like that one relative who tries to be hip and cool with the younger generation, trying to fit in but it just comes across as awkward and a little weird but you want to be nice.

The reason it took me six days to finish is because when it would repeat, I would get a little bored and I would do something else, like a puzzle or word search on my Kindle.

This would probably be a great book for someone looking to start reading in the paranormal romance genre, like I said, it was interesting enough and something new, different from vampires and werewolves but not very impressive to me.

Thank you for reading my review.
