Another hit out of the ball park for me. It was funny, cute, and I almost cried.
I don’t know how the author does it, these books are amazing. She really gets the readers to fall in love with the characters right off the bat, even if one of them is a playboy who doesn’t want to settle down.
I love these books so far and I’m in the middle of Red and Her Wolf as I write this in my journal.
I’m really glad that the author put in that little surprise, it really shows how a relationship can grow without a certain thing even if it was still on the brain.
It actually made my eyes blur when it got emotional, goodness the author knows how to work her readers.
The reader just gets caught up in the moment and you don’t want to put the book down, you want everything to work out.
I’m really excited about the rest of the books and, a little side note, there’s a book about Captain Hook down the line. Now when I think about Captain Hook, I see two versions. The cartoon Peter Pan Captain Hook and the Once Upon A Time Captain Hook.
This was a very interesting take on the fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast’s Gaston and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with Gerard just like I did.
Thank you for reading my review.
